Chapter 6 starts with Shikamaru discussing with the village elders about Boruto’s appearance. The elders called him a traitor for killing the Hokage.

In the next panel, Shikamaru asks Ino to bring an old mission log. But that was just an excuse to secretly connect with Ino through her sensory jutsu. He requested Ino not to add anyone to the convo, especially Kawaki, Eida and Amado. 

Kawaki and Eida discussed Ten Tails’ development of self-awareness. They are not only after Ohtsutsuki but want to kill Naruto and Eida as well. 

Daemon asks what if those claw grime come searching for the Seventh Hokage? The whole village will come to know Naruto is alive. Kawaki leaves them and confronts Mitsuki who follows him. 

The next scene shifted to Boruto meeting Sarada and Sumire. Boruto has erased his chakra signature so no one can detect him, except Kawaki. 

He came to talk about Sasuke who sacrificed himself to save Boruto. Ten Tail absorbed him and now he has turned into a tree.

He further tells about Ten Tails’ newly acquired evolving nature. They fundamentally devour chakra of any kind, eventually Ohtsutsuki. The chakra then transforms Ten-Tails into a divine tree. 

However, it is already evolving. He suspects Code’s involvement as he has karma coming from Issiki, a lump from Ohtsutsuki essence.

Kawaii on the other hand senses Boruto’s presence and tells Mitsuki. He poisons Kawakii and contacts Hokage. 

Meanwhile, Shikamaru contacted Boruto through Ino’s sensory Jutsu. Shiamaru alerted him about an attack. 

Mitsuki rushed towards Boruto and attacked him immediately with his snake. Mitsuki was raging with anger and attacked Boruto with his powerful jutsu, striking shadow snake assault. 

Boruto gets rid of him with clever moves. Before running away, he promises Sarada to rescue Sasuke. Shikamaru again contacts him while he’s far away. He warns Boruti about the whole village including Land of Fire agreeing to finish him off. 

Shikamaru asks about his doubts regarding him being Boruto Uzumaki. If Amado hadn’t brought it up about the fabricating memories Shikamaru wouldn’t have known it.
